Hello everyone! How have you been finding these cold days? We found it so exciting to get the snow in our neck of the woods when we haven’t had any for so long. It was only last week that my boys were saying to me “mummy when are we going to get snow we haven’t had it since 2012!” I can’t actually remember if it was 2012 but they were pretty adamant so I went with it.

With the schools being closed we found that we had a couple of snowy home days on our hands so we set out each morning and had a really good fun with it. As I haven’t actually believe that the snow would come I hadn’t bought sledges like I saw some of the children have so instead the boys went down the long sloping path leading down to the river on our old plastic food trays. They worked a treat until the constant battering got a little bit too much for them and then they broke into pieces! It was all good fun while it lasted.
